Our School Library

At Holy Trinity we are very proud of our school library. This was completely refurbished in 2012, as part of our celebration of 500 years of schooling in Cuckfield. Thanks to fund-raising by our PTA, Cuckfield Bonfire Committee, and the school - as well as generous donations from other organisations in the Cuckfield community – enough money was raised to buy new, modern shelving and soft furnishings. The library is brightly decorated in the school value colours of red, blue, green, orange and yellow. It is centrally situated near the hall and the entrance to the school.

The library is well-stocked with collections of fiction and non-fiction books aimed at  encouraging a love of reading and enriching learning. All children in school have their own library card and can borrow books to take home. In addition, each class in the school has a Book Corner stocked with books from the main library collection.

The library is managed on a day-to-day basis by a team of dedicated pupil librarians, supervised by Mrs Denyer. Their responsibilities include making sure that the library is always tidy and welcoming, shelving books, ordering new stock and cataloguing stock using our computerised system.
